Roosevelt Charter Academy has updated its Dress Code Policy. A copy of our current policy was sent home (blue paper) earlier this week. Please review this sheet and remember that students are to wear school colors--solids with no logos except RCA logo--Monday through Thursday.

Are you looking for before or after school childcare? RCA is working towards having this available on our campus beginning in February. If interested, please contact STARS Kid Care at info@starskidcare.com or call 303-219-9515 (or 720-757-7995 for Spanish). They can give you all the information. Remember to mention that your students attend Roosevelt Charter Academy.

If your student will NOT be participating in our fundraiser--selling BOGO Blue cards—please return to the school the sample card and payment envelope that was sent home with your student. Write your child’s name on the envelope (not on the card) so we can record who turns them in. You may purchase the card by returning $10 in the envelope and keeping the sample.

Information about our BOGO Blue Cards fundraiser was sent home yesterday. Students may turn in paid orders on Thursdays (January 20, 24 and February 3) and on Fridays pick up cards for delivery. If you have questions, call Ms. Marina at RCA at 719-637-0311 ex. 1135.

Parents may have received a message that some schools are switching to e-learning. Roosevelt Charter Academy is NOT one of them. We will continue with regular in-person classes at this time. Also please note that if D-11 calls an E-learning Snow Day, RCA will have a regular Snow Day with no requirement to go online for classes. This is due to the fact that we have extra days already build into our school calendar.

Monday, January 17 is a school holiday in honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. We’ll see you back at RCA on Tuesday, January 18.

Our School District 11 superintendent has informed us that beginning December 13, 2021, facial coverings/masks will not be required in D11 schools and buildings. However, they will be required for any students or staff members while using district transportation, due to the federal mandate. If you have questions, please call the school at 719-637-0311.

WE NEED USED UNIFORMS
if you have outgrown shirts, pants, skirts, sweaters, etc. in RCA colors (blue, white, black, khaki) in good condition, consider donating them to RCA. We keep clothing on hand for kids who need an emergency change during the day. We also plan to have a clothing sale after the Holiday Break. You will find a donation box in the Front Office after.
—Thank you for sharing with the RCA Community
